3 in Suva 3!

When there's 3 companions, you know there's going to be 3 times more fun!

This week, we had our good friend Sister Rich over here with us.  Sister Eneri and I let her stay with us because her companion had to go home because she was sick.  So since there was no one to look out for Sister Rich, we took her in under our wings, fed her, watered her, gave her a nice place to sleep, and then went out and shared the gospel to a bunch of people this week.  It was awesome!  And this is the first time (we think) in the history of the Fiji Suva Mission that 2 palagi sisters have ever been companions!  So with two white chicks and a beautiful Kiribati girl, we were quite the sight.  But, we met tons of new people, and had some really great experiences!

We had Zone Conference on Wednesday, and it was awesome.  Bittersweet, since it was the last one with President and Sister Klingler, but we had a great conference.  The big topic that the zone leaders talked about was how we don't need to focus on our numbers.  It says in our purpose as missionaries to HELP OTHERS COME UNTO CHRIST by helping them (receive the restored gospel through faith and Jesus Christ and His Atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end).  We are called to our missions to help people Come unto Christ, and not just our investigators.  We are to help members and anyone who needs help strengthening their faith in our Savior.  I'm so grateful to be a missionary and to help others come closer to Christ!

One really great thing happened this week--we found an ENTIRE FAMILY who has been prepared to receive the gospel!  They were a referral from one of our friends and they apparently have taken the lessons once before a few years ago, but something happened and they stopped the discussions.  But now they are asking for us to come back. We went to visit this week, and invited them to church.  They asked us to come pick them up-of course we did.  We went on Sunday morning, picked them up, came to church with them, and they LOVED church, except the mom doesn't really speak English, she speaks Hindi.  So now I'm studying Hindi...so exciting!  The mom and dad, and the 4 kids came, and they loved church.  Then we walked them home and they insisted on feeding us lunch.  We shared a spiritual thought, they asked us to come this week, and they are so excited.  I love them!  The Spirit was so strong, and I had this warm feeling of peace and happiness.  We shared about how families can be together forever and the dad just went on and on about how he wants that for his family!  I LOVE MY FAMILY!

We also had a really awesome service project this Thursday and a BUNCH of members from church came too.  We went up to help a semi less-active family remodel parts of their house, and the elders came with us, and we were able to get a lot done.  It was so awesome, and the family was so grateful!  The dad even came to church on Sunday with the kids.  WOOHOO!!

I hope everyone has a GREAT week!
