1/10th of a score, and one day to go...

1/10th of a score, and one day to go from today, this Sister Missionary embarked on her journey to the isles of the sea.  Looking back on it, it's flown by faster than a speeding bullet!  Unfortunately for this sister missionary, this week was a sickly week for her and her companion.

The downside:  No going out, and no seeing all your friends and talking about the gospel to them.

The upside:  When you're a missionary and you're sick, all you want is a piece of home.  Shout out to my home girl PAIGE BENNION for sending me the rice of heaven, Rice A Roni, many weeks ago.  It's still good!  THANKS PB! Love you!

Another Upside:  When you find the strength and courage to drag yourself off your bed to support a lovely Kiribas couple in holy matrimony.  (No, I didn't get married, I just watched them get married).  It was really cute.  Turns out the wife is related to my companion Sister Eneri.  Small world!  She married her now-husband on Wednesday night.  The next step...TEMPLE! #ETERNITY!

Well, the quote of this week for us was "That's what faith can do!" (insert EFY song here).  Every tiny victory we had was all due to the faith that we have been exercising (PMG CH 6 #christlikeattributes).  We also had a SWEET fast and testimony meeting this week.  Our less active dad BORE HIS TESTIMONY! He was awesome, and the fruits of our labor are sweet to the taste!  And the cutest, our little boy Zarom who is going to be baptized soon by his older brother was nervous to go up, so we went up together.  He bore a sweet testimony, short, simple, but full of truth and conviction.  LOVE HIM!

Hope everyone had a GREAT 4th of July.  Don't worry, we celebrated a little bit here in Fiji...no BBQ and swimming, but it was full of red white and blue!
